![]() Employment Opportunity / RFQ (Request for Quote).I have attached all the parameters in case you want to see them. An error came up saying it had to be shut off and nothing changed. I have already tried to change parameter 9921 to match our other Jig Grinder (01001000 -> 01000001) and it wouldn’t change. *NOTE: We have an identical Jig Grinder that had a memory upgrade at the same time and has parameter 9921 set to 01000001. When we restored using the old backup we must have lost a parameter or memory setting from the memory upgrade? Can anyone help with this issue?įrom what I have found, parameter 9921 sets the amount of memory available? Does anyone know more about the procedure to change this? It is currently set at 01001000 The problem is that the memory upgrade happened AFTER the backup was created. It use to have 256k and was upgraded to 0.5M. It’s been a long time, but we think this machine had a memory upgrade years ago (around year 2000). When we get a big program we may not be able to load it at all. You can never assign a value to 0, it’s value is always null, which means no value. ![]() Here is how Fanuc thinks of these ranges, for example: Variable Number. ![]() We can’t hold many part programs like we use to be able too. These variables fall into ranges that affect their meaning and how they can be used. We got the machine running fine but the memory is VERY low. Version: August 2019 V1.The problem is that the backup we used to restore was from 1998 (14+ years old). READ WRITE FANUC PARAMETERS: DESCRIPTION AND USAGE Inventcom ![]() We had an “Outer Rom Parity Error (Graphic)” and had the issue fixed by reloading the software from a previous backup. I have a Moore Jig Grinder with a 16i-M Fanuc control.
